A quick and easy overnight oats recipe featuring ripe peaches and fresh cream for a creamy, indulgent breakfast that’s perfect for busy mornings or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (whole milk preferred, almond or oat milk for dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup (60g) full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 12 tablespoons (15-30ml) honey
  • 1 medium fresh peach, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh cream (heavy cream preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5g) ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, chia seeds (if using), ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently to mix.
  2. Add milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and honey. Mix thoroughly until oats are fully moistened.
  3. Wash and slice the peach into thin wedges. Optionally toss with a little lemon juice if peaches are not perfectly ripe.
  4. Layer the peach slices on top of the oat mixture, then drizzle fresh cream over the peaches.
  5. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight to allow oats to soak and flavors to meld.
  6. Before eating, gently stir the oats to mix the cream throughout. Add extra cream or honey if desired. Optionally top with fresh peach slices or toasted almonds.

Notes

Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best texture. Add fresh cream on top rather than mixing early for a velvety texture. If oats are too thick in the morning, stir in more milk; if too watery, add yogurt or oats and refrigerate longer. Frozen peaches can be used if thawed and drained well. For dairy-free, substitute milk, cream, and yogurt with plant-based alternatives.
