A quick and easy snack featuring hot dogs wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, topped with everything bagel seasoning for a crispy, flavorful finish. Perfect for casual gatherings or a fast treat.

  • 1 standard 8-ounce can (227g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 regular-sized hot dogs (about 6 inches/15 cm each)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons (28g) melted butter
  • Optional: 4 ounces (115g) shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut along the pre-scored perforations to separate into 8 triangles.
  3. If using cheese, sprinkle a small amount on each triangle near the wide end.
  4. Place one hot dog at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Slice hot dogs in half lengthwise if needed for easier rolling.
  5. Roll the dough up around the hot dog, starting at the wide end and rolling toward the pointy tip, tucking the dough slightly underneath to seal.
  6. Arrange the wrapped hot dogs on the baking sheet with space between each.
  7. Brush each roll-up with melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously over each roll-up.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until deep golden and crispy, watching closely to avoid burning.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

If dough is sticky, chill for 10 minutes before rolling. For extra crispiness, flip roll-ups halfway through baking if confident they won’t unravel. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving to keep crunch.
