A simple, nostalgic punch recipe combining citrus juices and fizzy soda for a refreshing, timeless party drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (16 fl oz) orange juice, freshly squeezed or store-bought
  • 2 cups (16 fl oz) pineapple juice, preferably unsweetened
  • 4 cups (32 fl oz) lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • 2 cups (16 fl oz) ginger ale, chilled
  • 1/4 cup (2 fl oz) grenadine syrup
  • Lemon, lime, and orange slices for garnish
  • Maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill all liquid ingredients (orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, ginger ale) for about 1 hour in the fridge.
  2. Thinly slice lemon, lime, and orange; set aside a handful for garnish.
  3. In a large punch bowl, pour orange juice and pineapple juice; stir gently to combine.
  4. Slowly add grenadine syrup and stir carefully to blend without losing fizz.
  5. Add lemon-lime soda and ginger ale to the punch bowl; stir gently once or twice to mix, preserving the bubbles.
  6. Float citrus slices and maraschino cherries on top for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately by ladling into glasses filled with ice cubes; optionally add a slice of lemon or a cherry to each glass rim.

Notes

Avoid stirring vigorously after adding soda and ginger ale to keep the bubbles alive. Add ice cubes to individual glasses instead of the punch bowl to prevent dilution. For a lighter version, replace lemon-lime soda with sparkling water. Adjust sweetness gradually with grenadine syrup.
