This Easy Candy Corn Popcorn Bark is a quick 15-minute treat that combines salty popcorn, crunchy pretzels, and sweet candy corn all coated in white chocolate. Perfect for Halloween parties or fall gatherings, it’s an addictive sweet-and-salty snack that comes together in no time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists (broken into pieces)
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional)
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or almonds (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (optional)
  • ¼ cup fall-themed M&Ms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Pop the popcorn and spread it on the prepared baking sheet. Pick out any unpopped kernels and let cool completely for about 5 minutes.
  3. Place mini pretzels in a zip-top bag and gently crush into nickel-sized pieces.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until mostly melted and smooth (about 1½ to 2 minutes total).
  5. Pour melted white chocolate over the cooled popcorn on the baking sheet. Add broken pretzels and candy corn. Gently fold with a rubber spatula until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the mixture into an even layer about ½ to ¾ inch thick. Press down gently. Optionally press extra candy corn into the surface.
  7. If using optional toppings (sea salt, dried cranberries, nuts, M&Ms), sprinkle them over the top while chocolate is still wet.
  8. Let the bark set at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours. Do not refrigerate.
  9. Once completely set, lift the parchment paper and break the bark into irregular 2- to 3-inch pieces.
  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Notes

Use plain or lightly salted popcorn; avoid butter-flavored. Let popcorn cool completely before adding chocolate. Do not refrigerate the bark to set; room temperature setting prevents chocolate bloom. White chocolate is sensitive to heat and moisture—microwave in short bursts and ensure all utensils are dry. The bark tastes even better the next day as flavors meld.
