A quick and easy no-bake Halloween snack mix made with pretzels, Chex cereal, candy corn, peanuts, and white chocolate. Perfect for parties, this sweet-and-salty treat comes together in under 15 minutes and is always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups pretzel twists
  • 2 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn)
  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
  • 1 cup mini pretzel sticks, broken in half
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons orange sprinkles (jimmies style)
  • 1 tablespoon black sprinkles
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Optional: 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, letting it extend slightly over the edges for easy lifting.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups pretzel twists, 2 cups Chex cereal, 1 cup candy corn, 1 cup salted peanuts, and 1 cup broken mini pretzel sticks. Toss gently with your hands to distribute evenly.
  3. Place 12 ounces white chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until mostly melted (about 90 seconds total). Let residual heat finish melting.
  4. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice into the melted chocolate until smooth and glossy.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the dry ingredients. Use a rubber spatula to fold gently from the bottom up until everything is evenly coated (about 2 minutes).
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle orange and black sprinkles over the top and press them in gently with your fingertips.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes (or freezer for 15 minutes) until the chocolate is firm.
  8. Once set, lift the parchment paper from the baking sheet and break the mix into bite-sized pieces. Serve at room temperature.

Notes

Make ahead for best flavor; store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. For nut-free, substitute peanuts with sunflower seeds or extra Chex. For dairy-free, use vegan white chocolate chips. Avoid overmixing to prevent breaking pretzels.
