A quick, easy, and kid-friendly snack featuring soft flour tortillas spread with ranch-seasoned cream cheese and fresh cucumber slices, rolled into fun pinwheels.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8-inch flour tortillas (soft and pliable)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 large English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for 30 minutes or microwaving in 10-second bursts until soft but not melted.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with ranch seasoning and fresh dill if using; mix until smooth and evenly seasoned.
  3. Wash and thinly slice the cucumber into 1/8 inch (3 mm) rounds; pat dry with paper towels to avoid sogginess.
  4. Lay one 8-inch flour tortilla flat on a clean surface.
  5. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of the ranch cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small margin at the edges.
  6. Arrange cucumber slices in a single overlapping layer over the cream cheese.
  7. Roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape using gentle pressure.
  8. Slice the roll into 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick pinwheels, yielding about 8-10 pieces per wrap.
  9. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Soften cream cheese before mixing for easy spreading. Pat cucumber slices dry to prevent sogginess. Warm tortillas slightly if they crack while rolling. Use a sharp knife for clean pinwheel slices. Best served chilled or at room temperature and eaten within 24 hours for freshness.
