A light, refreshing, and spooky green punch perfect for Halloween parties. Made with simple ingredients like pineapple juice, limeade, and lime sherbet, it comes together in under 10 minutes and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 liter pineapple juice (chilled, not from concentrate if possible)
  • 2 cups limeade concentrate (thawed)
  • 1 liter lemon-lime soda (chilled, like Sprite or 7UP)
  • 1 liter seltzer water (chilled)
  • 1 pint lime sherbet (softened slightly)
  • 1–2 drops green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup frozen green grapes
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 handful fresh mint sprigs (optional)
  • 1 plastic spider ring or gummy worms (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill all liquid ingredients (pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, seltzer water) thoroughly, preferably overnight.
  2. Remove lime sherbet from freezer and let sit at room temperature for 5-7 minutes until softened to the consistency of thick yogurt.
  3. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine chilled pineapple juice and thawed limeade concentrate. Stir until concentrate is fully dissolved.
  4. Gently pour in chilled lemon-lime soda and seltzer water. Fold together gently with a ladle or large spoon to preserve carbonation.
  5. If desired, add 1-2 drops green food coloring and stir gently for a more vibrant green color.
  6. Drop dollops of softened lime sherbet into the punch. Do not stir; let them float on top to create a frothy layer.
  7. Add frozen pineapple chunks and frozen green grapes to keep the punch cold without diluting it.
  8. Garnish with lime slices, mint sprigs, and optional plastic spider ring or gummy worms.
  9. Serve immediately while fizzy and frothy, ladling into cups with some frozen fruit and sherbet foam in each serving.

Notes

Best served within 30 minutes of assembly. Do not over-stir to keep carbonation. Frozen fruit acts as ice cubes without watering down the punch. For an adult version, substitute seltzer with Prosecco or add white rum/vodka. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours but will lose carbonation and texture.
