A quick and easy summer cocktail blending fresh strawberries, lemonade, and vodka into a perfectly balanced, icy slushie that’s refreshing and crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup lemonade (homemade or store-bought, lightly sweetened preferred)
  • 1 cup vodka (smooth brand like Tito’s recommended)
  • 2 cups ice cubes (crushed ice preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash, hull, and roughly chop 2 cups of fresh strawberries. If using frozen, thaw slightly until soft but not melted.
  2. Add strawberries, 1 cup lemonade, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons simple syrup (if using) into a high-speed blender. Pulse a few times to combine until thick puree forms. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Pour in 1 cup vodka and add 2 cups ice cubes. Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy. Pulse in short bursts if blender overheats.
  4. Check consistency: if too thick, add a splash more lemonade or a few ice cubes and blend again; if too thin, add more ice and pulse.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves or a strawberry on the rim, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for natural sweetness and vibrant color. Keep ice cubes frozen solid until blending for best texture. Pulse blender in short bursts to avoid overheating. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture. The strawberry lemonade base can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 days; blend with ice and vodka just before serving.
